Accommodation

Diasporic Joyce will take place in the heart of central Toronto, at the intersection of Bloor Street and Avenue road. The nearest subway station is Museum, a few minutes away, but you will also be very close to Saint George and Bay stations. Within a few blocks you will find the Royal Ontario Museum, the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Arts, the Bata Shoe Museum, shopping on Bloor Street and in Yorkville, the larger campus of the University of Toronto with its extensive library system (ranked in the top three with Harvard and Yale), and plenty of good restaurants and pubs.

There is a wide range of hotels in the area. We have arranged with a few of them for special conference rates. We have also reserved 100 rooms in the residences at Victoria College, where prices for bed and breakfast will be very reasonable. You may also want to consider Airbnb in Toronto. In all cases, we strongly encourage you to book your accommodation as soon as possible.

Please note that all hotels will add taxes (both 13% HST and 3% Destination Fees) to your bill.
